Brigette’ s Session

These gorgeous photos are of Brigette, the daughter of my high school best friend. This photoshoot was so special to me because it was the first time that I had seen my friend since we were teenagers, and it was the first time I met her beautiful daughter – who is a now a teenager, herself! Wow, how time flies.

Brigette is like most teens these days: she doesn’t really like having photos taken of her unless she’s the one holding the camera - or iPhone. She’s a big fan of the “selfie!”

Selfies are great because we can monitor and control the way we look in each photo. However, it’s nearly impossible to get a full body shot at a flattering angle. And those front facing cameras aren’t exactly the best quality! Not compared to a professional digital camera, anyway.

We live on the Florida  – if you know anything about Florida, you know that it can be VERY humid here! The air was pretty sticky most of the day, so we were a little worried that we wouldn’t be able to get the perfect shot. Luckily, it cleared up just in time for Brigette’s photos and we were able to make some magic happen! We had a ton of fun trying out different poses and locations during this photoshoot.

Brigette and her mom loved one of the photos so much that they had it printed on a 3’x2’ canvas! I am so happy that I was able to be a part of these moments that will be remembered forever through the photos we captured. Thank you!
